Our Facilities

The grounds are leased from the City of Albany and are principally for use on Rally days.

However, members actively involved with the Club either as riders, partners or instructors, may use the grounds occasionally for private lessons or schooling, provided they leave all equipment and facilities as they find them and do not disrupt groups who are using the grounds.

Other individuals and groups wishing to use the grounds must apply to the Secretary.

The grounds and facilities consist of:

Club Room/Canteen comprising of a steel frame shed
Brick toilet block
Equipment sheds
Stalls/yards
Sheds for sheltering and storage of equipment
Concrete pad for farrier, measuring stick
Unloading ramp
Jumping, games and dressage equipment
All weather dressage arena
Cross Country Course
Jumping lane
Vaulting equipment

Future development of the grounds and facilities requires constant review. The immediate needs and increasing membership emphasise the necessity to make better and more effective use of the grounds.

The first steps have taken through the improvement of the drainage system and the development of an all weather dressage arena (50m x 70m) and the development of a cross-country course to suit all grades and ages; and, the construction of a showjumping lane.
