The highest honour for service to Pony Club has been recognised since 1973, both through the Shell Award and subsequently the Vetsearch International Citizenship Award.
THE SHELL AWARD (1973-1993) The Shell Award commenced in 1973 and was awarded to an Associate Member of a Pony Club affiliated with the Pony Club Association of Western Australia who had given constant and practical services to his or her club. This Award was presented to Associate members of the Club following submission to the PCAWA Council for consideration. To be considered worthy of this Award, the Associate must have always been helpful and thoughtful for others, and genuinely interested in seeing that the aims and objectives of the Pony Club movement are upheld in the Club of which he or she is a member.
THE VETSEARCH INTERNATIONAL CITIZENSHIP AWARD (From 1994) From Vetsearch International has undertaken the sponsorship of this prestigious award, and the PCAWA is beholden to both companies for their generous sponsorship of the award and their support of the promotion of the aims and objectives of Pony Club. The following members from the King River Club have been presented with this Award:
