Days of Fun with Horses

Fun Days combine saddle horse events, where there is no finer place than the show ring; mounted games which have formed part of man’s riding activities since the earliest, and showjumping.

These days are organised to be fun – and fun they are!! They cater for the youngest and most inexperienced rider to the most competent.

Dymesbury Lodge High Points Gymkhana

Sunday 22^ndSeptember 2002

Sunday the 22^nd September saw the second Dymesbury Lodge High Points Gymkhana held at the King River Pony club.

The day was a great success and catered for all ages and abilities from lead rein to seniors. Events included hacking, jumping, barrel racing and other h\games ensured there was never a dull moment.

Points were awarded to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each individual class and at the end of the competition the rider/horse combination with the most points was the overall winner of their category.

Phyllis D’Addario from Dymesbury Lodge was there to present trophies to the place getters.
